With shops behind face the standing cross on The Green at Meriden. Go L down main road to the Bulls Head Hotel.

Cross road and take driveway to Meriden Hall. At end of metal railings take signed passageway R leading to kissing gate. Take kissing gate and go L with hedge L to take wooden kissing gate adjacent to gate. Go with wall L. At end of wall go up hill to find mid fence metal gate. Take gate and go 1/2 L to take mid fence stile. Go ahead over field to wire fence and ahead with wire fence R to road

Cross road and take kissing gate and ahead 1/2 L across field to corner kissing gate. Take gate and go R with hedge R to exit file by kissing gate. Go ahead with hedge R

Watch for way marked mid hedge gap R. Take gap and go L. with hedge L to copse. Continue with copse L to find grassy exit track. Take track to gate onto road. Go ahead.

Cross stile and go ½ R to cross field to find edge of wood. Go R with wood L and watch for path R across field. Take path and pass to L of lone oak to wood edge. Go L with wood R to find corner stile (This apparent doubling back is to ensure public rights of way are followed.) Cross stile and enter scrub to take short path to bridge stile into field.

Go R 25 paces and turn L up field centre to skyline hedge gap. Through gap and continue ahead with hedge L. Follow track round past barn right to road. Go L on road, pass Shirley Lane, under pylons and take stile R opposite Oak Farm

Go ¼ L to top far corner stile. Cross stile and continue down field to far L corner gate. Through gate and continue ahead through scrub to stile on to road. Go R and after some 250 paces pass two cottages on L.

Face last cottage and take path to R of cottage passing through garden with cottage L to reach fence gap exit to find hidden passage. Take passage to reach stile leading into overgrown field.

Make way through field with hedge R and far pylons R  to reach far R corner stile. Take stile and go L with hedge L to come to field corner stile. Take stile and go R to hedge gap continue ahead under pylons to hedge gap

Do not go through gap but REMAIN IN FIELD and go R with hedge L, take field corner kissing gate / bridge / kissing gate and ahead with hedge L to left corner kissing gate / ditch bridge / kissing gate. Take gate and go 1/4 R towards power pole with adjacent kissing gate.

Take kissing gate to vehicle way, and ahead through kissing gate to stile to road. Go L 20 paces and turn R down Truigist Lane and then L on Hodgetts Lane. Continue on Hodgetts Lane over railway bridge and go immediately R along drive way.

Pass Beechwood Farm Cottage and immediately afterwards take latch gate L. Go ½ R across paddock to take mid fence latch gate into field. Go ½ L to find far R corner stile. Cross stile and go L on vehicle way. Follow vehicle way bending L with hedge R to reach way mark stile by gateway.

Cross stile and go with hedge R under pylons to take stile bridge stile to field. Go ahead with hedge R to field corner gap and ditch bridge. Cross ditch bridge and field strip to take stile to steps up to disused railway path

Go R on Old Waste Lane, opposite house called Holsworthy take kissing gate to field. Go 1/2 R to exit field by mid hedge kissing gate to main road. Cross road, go 30 paces R and take stile L by gate into field. Go with fence R to field corner. Continue ahead across field to large kissing gate.

Take large kissing gate into commercial property. Go ½ L to drive way passing thorough middle of barns to driveway and road. Go L on road for some ¼ mile.

Some 10 paces after Hill Farm take ditch stile R. Cross stile and go with hedge R to cross bridge ditch gap. Go ahead with hedge R around two sides of field to exit by far left corner field gap.

Take gap and ahead with hedge L to exit field by gate L. Go ahead with hedge R to corner stile. Cross stile, go L over driveway to take hidden bridge stile into field. Go ½ L to take gap by large tree, maintain line cross field to ditch stile. Take bridge ditch stile and go ahead with hedge and fence L.

Round two sides of field to reach field corner gap. Go L over stile, and continue with hedge R. Continue with hedge R to stile / gap leading into grassy passageway through copse. Exit copse by stile to road

Go L and after 5 paces go R and take gate into field. Go 1/4 L to mid fence ditch bridge and stile. Take stile and go L to find mid fence stiles some 20 paces R of field corner. Cross stiles and go ½ R to left of copse and find and take stile bridge stile.

Go R over field to pass large oak tree to find farm driveway. Go R up driveway towards Rudfyn Farm. Before farm take way mark path L through copse.

Go with hedge L, pass dew pond L, to way mark post before end of field and close to lone tree. Go R across field to mid fence gap and continue up field to field corner.

At field corner enter copse. Through copse and go with hedge R to enter further small copse.  Exit copse by ditch bridge and go R to find stile to road. Go R 10 paces and take stile L. Go ½ L towards Castle on skyline.

Find stile by power lines. Go L with hedge L take stile into copse. Exit copse and go ½ R across field to reach field kissing gate. Take gate and head towards right of castle to find gap by derelict building

Kenilworth to Meriden

Face Queen and Castle, Kenilworth. Go L up main road to bend, take lane L (Purlieu Lane). Go under power cables and after 20 paces take kissing gate R.

Go ½ L up field to gateway. Go ahead maintaining line, through mid hedge kissing gate and ahead across to find copse at field corner. Enter copse and exit by kissing gate to field. Go with hedge R to find kissing gate R. Take gate and go ½ L across field towards houses to kissing gate to road.

Go R on road for 10 paces and take kissing gate L to field. Go with hedge L to field corner. Cross ditch bridge L. Go through small copse and ahead with hedge L. Through next copse and go down field to find mid field gap with ditch bridge. Cross bridge and go up field to hedge. Go L around field edge with hedge R to exit by field corner gap.

Go L up field to pass under power cables - watch for mid field waymark sign. At waymark sign go ½ R in direction of houses to field corner. Go with hedge L pass houses.

Take waymark sign L through hedge; pass through copse adjacent to houses, to driveway. Go R down driveway. Some 20 paces before passing under power lines; at junction with drive R, go L across field - pass by lone field oak to cross mid field to adjacent field corner edge, go ahead and after 10 paces take gap L. Go R with hedge R and follow round field edge up field to far mid hedge stile.

Cross stile and go over ditch bridge and second stile. Go ½ R to far mid fence stile. Cross stile, bridge and second stile.

Go ¼, hedge R to find and take mid fence stile R. cross field centre to gateway to road. Over road turn L and almost immediately take stile R though tree lined copse to field.

Go with hedge L to field corner stile. Cross stile and go R hugging two sides of field to far field corner stile. Cross stile and bridge ditch. Go ½ L across field to hedge gap by large tree and ahead to find field corner stile. Cross stile to ditch bridge to drive way. Cross driveway and take field stile to L of gateway.

Go L with hedge L to field corner stile / gate. Take stile and go with hedge R to field exit gap. Take gap and go L with hedge L to field corner, remain in field and go R with hedge L pass under power lines to find field corner ditch bridge.

Take ditch bridge and go with hedge L to stile to road. Go L ¼ mile on road turn R into Camp Farm / Pheasant Oak Farm. Up drive way of farm, through gateway and up centre between buildings. Exit property by far L corner large kissing gate.

Go ahead over field to go with hedge L to take stile to road. Cross road, go R 30 paces to find large kissing gate L to enter field. Go 1/2 R over field to exit by far corner kissing gate to road. Go R on Old Waste Lane. Take driveway L adjacent to Oaklands some 40 paces before road end.

After 70 paces take passage way to R of driveway to passage way at end cross fence stile. Go with hedge L to corner, cross fence stile and ditch bridge. Maintain line with hedge L to corner stile (or hedge gap).

Take stile / gap and continue with hedge L to corner field stile. Cross stile and take steps up to disused railway. Go R and immediately L taking steps down into field.

Go ahead across short land strip to ditch bridge. Cross bridge and go with hedge L to take corner stile / bridge, Go ahead under pylons to find corner field stile.

Cross stile and go ahead to rough drive way follow round R after approximate 50 paces cross field stile R and go ½ L across field to mid fence latch gate.

Take latch gate and continue ½ L to cross field corner and onto drive by latch gate. Turn R on driveway to road – Go L over railway bridge continue to junction of roads.

Turn R to T junction. Turn L after 20 pace cross stile R to vehicle track. Go ahead on track to take kissing gate and ahead to exit track by kissing gate to field. Go across field to find kissing gate.

Take kissing gate / plank bridge / kissing gate into field and go with hedge R to find field corner kissing gate.

Take kissing gate / plank bridge / kissing gate and ahead with hedge R under power cables. Come to mid hedge gap on R with stile and various way marks. Remain in field, turn L, across field to ditch bridge located 10 paces in from R field comer. Cross ditch bridge and go ahead with wire fence L across field  to exit by kissing gate.

Go with hedge R to find top R swamp boards to kissing gate stile. Take gate and go with power lines L and hedge R. At end of trees cross stile R and go L. Continue with hedge L, under pylons and at field corner go ¼ R to stile to R of white house.

Take stile and go down driveway to road. Go L 40 paces take stile R and 2nd stile into field. Go with hedge R to exit by corner gap. Ahead over field under power lines, through hedge gap and 1/4 L to go with hedge L. 10 paces before field end cross hedge stile L.

Go with hedge R. Watch for mid hedge stile R. Cross stile and go L with hedge L to find corner stile. Cross stile into grassy passageway leading to back garden, keep to L of garden and house to road. Go R, after 250 paces take stile L through shrub to gateway.

At field corner gap continue ahead down mid field toward copse / hedge Turn R after 25 paces and take stile L, over ditch bridge, into coppice and stile into field. Go with wood L to corner by lone oak. Take path across field to R of oak to find edge of wood.

Go L with wood R. After some 90 paces at corner of wood go ½ L across centre of field to far R corner kissing. Take gate and go R with hedge R on vehicle track.

Follow track through two fields. At end of 2nd field take gate and ahead with hedge L. Just before farm gate go 1/2 R across field to gate / stile by high trees to R of house.

Cross stile and follow grassy passageway to road. Go L past St. Laurence church. Where road swings R go ahead through gate onto grassy passage way. Continue on passageway to open field.

Go R and follow round field edge. Half way along long field edge find signed gap R. Take gap and ahead with hedge L to exit by corner kissing gate. Ahead with hedge L to L corner kissing gate. Take kissing gate and go 1/2 R to find kissing gate to road. Cross road and take stile into field go with fence L and ahead to take mid hedge stile. Go 3/4 R to exit field by mid fence gate

Go 1/4 L downhill to edge of wood and ahead with wall R to take wooden kissing gate and ahead with hedge R to find large kissing gate R. Take kissing gate to passage way to drive. Go L on driveway to road, turn L and walk up road to old standing cross.
