THE MILLENNIUM WAY

100 miles of superb walking across the centre of England

Background information from Solihull 41 Club

The unique MILLENNIUM WAY is a gem of a long-distance path, taking in 100 miles of the diverse, delightful and historic heart of England. The route extends from Pershore, Worcestershire, in the west to Middleton Cheney, Northamptonshire in the east.

Now, with the full approval of local authorities, the MILLENNIUM WAY has been cleared and distinctively waymarked, making it an exceptional walking experience.

Chris Tayler, founder of MILLENNIUM WAY, strides out past Packwood House.

It has taken years of dedicated planning and hard work by a team of enthusiasts from Solihull 41 Club, led by Chris Tayler, together with the support of other 41 Clubs along the way to make the MILLENNIUM WAY accessible to the growing number of walkers and ramblers who appreciate the countryside, and the great benefits in health and fitness that walking brings.

The MILLENNIUM WAY embraces the advantages offered by the Internet - the whole route being totally available online and updated on our web site.

Smaller circular walks along the route include different stages of the MILLENNIUM WAY making it accessible to those looking for shorter, more local walks.
